Inside Sales Rep/Business Development Rep

Team NCSi is looking for an Inside Sales Representative/Business Development Representative to be a Sales Support Assistant to our Senior Sales Executives and manage their own accounts. Additional responsibilities will be to support our Marketing and Sales team efforts overall. The primary role will be to assist your Senior Sales Executive to seek out new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers along with additional administrative duties. To be successful in the role, it is preferred you are a self-motivated person with some previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns. You will use your verbal and written communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact through after the close of the opportunity. You will also assist your sales counterpart to update leads and opportunities within SFDC to maintain an accurate status of leads and sales opportunities within your combined sales pipeline.

Sales Assistant responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and qualifying leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Contacting potential clients through cold calls and emails
  • Discussing our company value to potential clients
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executive.
  • Report to the Account Executive Team and Marketing Team on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans

Sales Assistant Requirements

  • Previous work experience as a Business Development Representative, in a sales capacity or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
  • Track record of setting and achieving goals
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. SFDC)
  • Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $3,000.00 – $4,000.00 per month + Commission on owned accounts
