5-Day Online and Classroom Training Courses
The first 2½ days of Unified Endpoint Management and Service Desk training will focus on basic Ivanti features and functions. The last half will focus on more advanced Ivanti capabilities. The combined course will run for 5 days consecutively. All necessary software will be provided in both the online and classroom training.  All courses are taught live, by an NCSi Certified Trainer.

Audience:
This training is intended for system administrators, managers, and anyone responsible for configuration and/or operation of the Ivanti environment. Pre-existing product knowledge is not required.


Unified Endpoint Management Training

This course cover topics from both Ivanti Unified Endpoint Management Suite and Ivanti Endpoint Security products. Instructor-led training will quickly teach attendees key fundamental skills on how to configure the Ivanti environment. Students will configure role-based administration, generate standard and custom reports, and learn how to fine-tune their system according to best known methods. Hands-on exercises are available for pushing the Ivanti agent, capturing inventory, remote control, software distribution, deploying patches, and working with Operating System Deployment and Provisioning.  Click here for a course syllabus

Gain Visibility into remote clients by using HIP profiles in Security policies.  Join Bryan Hadzik and Robert Kemeny as we dive into our September Fall Training Series with Palo Alto Networks on Friday, September 29th at 12:30pm EST/9:30am PST.

Ensure that your remote devices are in compliance with corporate security requirements in order to receive the configuration profiles that enable access to your corporate resources.

We’ll run through implementing examples like this: 
Before pushing configurations that enable access to your corporate systems, you will want to ensure that the device data is encrypted and that the devices have AV and are up to date. To do this, we will create a HIP profile that matches devices that meet this criteria and attach it to your security policy rules.

Service Desk Training

Training Description:
This instructor-led training will teach attendees key fundamental skills in order to maintain the Service Desk or Asset Manager environments. In the first three days, students will be acquainted with the fundamental concepts underlying Service Desk and it architecture, and then move into in depth coverage of the most common modules and functions used within the system. Included in this coverage will be discussion of the best practices around planning/creating/maintaining for these modules (the same principles can be used in the future with further modules), understanding User Management, best practice for data import, and use of the powerful, built in query designer. The remaining two days will be spent covering advanced skills and concepts for creation of Business Objects, Window Design and Process Design.  Click here for a syllabus
